What else to know:
Important note about the bikes:
You will be riding hilly terrain at times, through asphalt and packed dirt roads. We supply hybrid TREK eBikes with 500Wh batteries, that are enough in regular conditions for all the proposed itineraries if the assistance is used responsibly. By this we suggest avoiding a recharge stop in the middle of the day (designated spots are referenced in the daily notes) and not using the higher level of assistance (Turbo) unless strictly necessary. Instead of this, change to the lightest gear and the assistance algorithm will suit your needs. You may move slower, but assisted and for sure faster than a regular bike. Also whenever possible don’t forget to downgrade the assistance level used in steeper sections when back to flat or downhill. You will see this will make a huge difference at the end of the day in your battery level, and of course, it helps to improve your fitness level! Suggested base assistance is Tour or Eco.
When stopping for a snack or a visit and park your bike, don’t forget to lock. At night take the battery with you to the room to charge it and do the same thing if having lunch during the day (it helps your battery autonomy and an ebike with battery is worthless).

Important note about the tour.
All information about the tour are guidelines. We reserve the right to make occasional changes to ensure the flow of a high-quality biking holiday. Depending on the season, weather, national holidays, local activities and possibly simultaneous tours, there may be short-term deviations in the schedule. This can include the route to a location or alternative accommodation. All changes are up to our discretion. If there are changes, we guarantee compliance with our high quality standards.
24h - Assistance.
We offer you a 24h - Assistance service. That means, if there is a technical issue with the bike, we will try to solve the issue with all our means. If this isn’t possible we will provide you with a new bike latest 24h after the incident is announced to our hotline. Flat tires are not an assistance service case. We will provide you with a repair kit. Never forget you are cycling on small islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and all transports have to be done maritime.
